An Immuware alternative for hospital employee health
Immuware, from Propelus, is a cloud employee health platform built around compliance tracking: immunizations, screenings, medical surveillance, exposures and injuries, with a self-service portal employees use from their own phones. It is a credible product and a direct competitor. Here is an honest comparison, including the places it is the better choice.

Where Immuware is the better fit
Three cases, and we would rather say so than waste your evaluation time.
- You need NHSN reporting. This is the clearest gap. Immuware generates NHSN reports; we do not. We hold the NHSN occupation, service and location codes on the employee and exposure records, which is the data underneath, but you would still be assembling the submission yourself. If NHSN healthcare personnel vaccination reporting is a monthly chore you are trying to remove, that is a real reason to choose them.
- You are not a hospital. Immuware sells to universities and to general employers as well as to health systems. Everything we build assumes a healthcare workforce, and if you are running employee health for a university or a manufacturer, a broader product will fit better.
- You want to buy a narrow set of modules. If you genuinely only need immunization tracking and expect never to touch incidents, exposures or OSHA reporting, paying for a whole platform is poor value. Immuware's model lets you buy the slice you need.
Where carefoundryESC is the better fit
- You want to know the price before you take a sales call. Ours is published: $5,000 a year up to 500 employees, $12,000 up to 1,500, $25,000 up to 4,000. Immuware is quote only, which is the norm in this category and is the thing we set out to change.
- You do not want the bill to move when the organization does. Immuware's cost scales with locations, active users and employee volume. Ours moves only when your headcount crosses a plan boundary, and never mid-term. Opening a second clinic does not reopen the contract.
- You do not want to discover a module is extra. Every plan is the whole platform: examinations, immunizations, incidents, exposures, surveillance programs, respirator fit testing, hearing conservation, return to work, clinical notes and workers' compensation, plus the full report library. There is nothing to switch on later at a price.
- OSHA recordkeeping is the reason you are buying. The 300, 300A and 301 come out of the incident records themselves, with an advisory recordability evaluator, privacy-concern case handling and the confidential name list. If year-end filing is the pain, that is what we built around.
- You need to be live this quarter. Thirty days, with the go-live date written into the contract, and data migration included.
The honest summary
Immuware is the stronger choice if NHSN reporting matters to you, or if your population is not a hospital workforce. We are the stronger choice if you want a published price, everything included, and OSHA recordkeeping as the center of the product rather than one module among many.
If you are weighing both, the question that usually settles it is whether you file NHSN. If you do, ask us about it directly rather than assuming we have it, because we do not.
Switching is the easy part.
Data migration is included in every plan, at every size. We take employees, immunizations, exposures, incidents, exams, credentials and documents from a spreadsheet or an export from any prior system. Columns are matched to fields automatically, the match is shown to you for approval before anything is written, and an import that goes wrong can be rolled back in full.
